Kristin began knitting in her 20's and was instantly in love with the craft. She became throughly engrossed in all things knitting during the pandemic and starting teaching knitting to children and adults. Kristin loves knitting sweaters, accessories, and socks, but will try to conquer any knitting challenge. Her stash continues to grow as she studies different yarn brands and varieties of wool. Her next big endeavor in the fiber world is learning to spin. Kristin lives in the neighborhood of Dandelion Fiber Co and is thrilled to be able to share her love of knitting right around the corner!
Kate and Laila are knitters with a love of whimsy. That's why they started Knit & Gather to teach others the craft they love. They have both been knitting for over twenty years and love to experiment with different mediums. Coming from Norwegian cultural backgrounds, it is folk art and craft that connects them with their heritage! Kate is a professional knitting pattern designer and now, Kate and Laila have partnered to teach fiber arts together. Their goal is to share knowledge, connect with others, and offer high quality patterns, tools, and more. Follow along and take a class with them!
