Description & level : Have you ever seen a pattern that is something you must knit, but cannot find yarn to use?  Do you feel married to the yarn that a designer used for their original design?  Have you ever knit something and the garment just didn’t work out because you used the wrong yarn?  In this class we will go over how to substitute yarn from the original design, things to avoid, how to calculate the correct amount of yarn and what are good substitutions for specific patterns.  You’ll leave feeling confident and ready to choose yarn for your next project.  Feel free to bring in a pattern of your choice for ideas of yarns as substitutions.
