Helix is a unique self striping yarn made from US sourced Rambouilet and Targhee wool. It is hand dyed by us and processed from combed top making it extremely soft. The striping sequences are random and range in length, but are medium to long stripes, making it exciting for the yoke of a stranded sweater or shawl.
Each skein even within the same lot can be drastically different looking! This is part of the excitement of working with hand made unique yarns, if you order more than 1 skein in a colorway we will do our best to find the best possible matching skeins (if our stock allows).

Hand washing with wool specific soap is recommended. Lay Flat to dry.
The garment should be washed separately. For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
