Description & level : Try out this beginner level colorwork hat in 2 colors.  You will learn about beginning colorwork, tips and tricks for tension and reading a colorwork chart pattern.  This hat also has a Latvian braid and we will learn this fun technique.  

Skills needed: Knitting in the round, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease, knit, purl, 

Materials needed: Muana Hat pattern, sport weight yarn in 2 colors - consider Fiber MacGyver Shaniko Sport, Quince & Co Chickadee, Ewetopia Ridge Sport, Circus Tonic Handmade Merino Possum, or Magpie Fibers Nest Sport, needles for working in the round for this hat, dpns for the top of the hat or magic loop technique.
