Description & level : Try out this beginner level colorwork cowl in 2-4 colors.  You will learn about beginning colorwork, tips and tricks for tension and reading a colorwork chart pattern, and color dominance.  This cowl is in adult and child sizes.  It is a perfect worsted weight stash buster!  A regular or Italian cast-on can be used in this pattern - for the class we will be using a regular cast on and bind off.

Adventurous Beginner

Skills needed: Knitting in the round, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease, knit, purl

Materials needed: Column Cowl pattern by Anne Ventzel, worsted/ aran weight yarn in 2 - 4 colors - consider….  Knitting For Olive Heavy Merino, Magpie Fibers Nest Worsted, Sandnes Garn Atlas, Kelbourne Woolens Germantown
