FINNWOOL is completely produced and spun in Finland. It’s mainly made from Finnsheep and the spinning mill is using their best quality wool to produce it. It comes from a small spinning mill in the eastern part of Finland.
Finnsheep is an old, modest landsheep breed from Finland which is very adapted to the hard climate of northern europe.
FINNWOOL is a rustic, soft yarn, which is very well suited for colorworks. It’s a very natural, authentic yarn which results in very sophisticated knitted works.

Hand washing with wool specific soap is recommended. Lay Flat to dry.
The garment should be washed separately. For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
