This advanced beginner class is the perfect next step if you’re ready to grow your garment-making confidence. The Frankie Sweater is worked top-down, giving you the freedom to try it on as you go for that just-right fit. You’ll learn and refine  essential techniques like short rows for shaping, classic raglan increases, and smooth, seamless construction.

Planning ahead for breezy evenings? Knit yours in a wool/cotton blend or crisp cotton for the perfect lightweight layer—ideal for summer nights at the cabin, beach walks, or patio dinners.  The stripe look allows for choosing a combo of your favorite colors!

In this class, you’ll:

• Master top-down sweater construction

Skills needed: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase, decrease, pick up stitches, 

Materials needed:  DK weight yarn or yarn to obtain gauge, needles for gauge in pattern, your own purchased copy of the pattern, stitch holders/barber cords, stitch markers
