This top-down cardigan is perfect for our Minnesota summers or winters.  Andrea Mowry created this top down, seamless striped stunner that can be knit with a  summery yarn or a wool for colder months.  Join this class to create this beauty that can add some color and sass to your wardrobe.  We will go over skills such as the Twisted German Cast On, a stretchy bind off, cable cast on, and button holes.  This is a perfect class for an ADVANCED beginner.  You will do lots of knitting of this raglan cardigan on your own, but will learn skills for fit and finishing, along with encouragement and fixing along the way.  

Swatch with your chosen yarn prior to first class and bring it with you, purchase and have your pattern with you along with needles that fit your gauge the first class.  It is very important that all materials are ready to go for the first class.  This is a 4-week class and we want to use all of our time knitting and learning for each 2-hour session.

Materials needed: Purchased pattern, needles and yarn to obtain gauge of pattern.

Yarns to choose from in the shop include the yarn used in the pattern:

Wandering Flock Cotton Lino, Quince & Co Chickadee, Fiber MacGyver Shaniko Sport, Magpie Nest Sport (or any yarn that will meet gauge - 23.5 stitches and 31 rows = 4" in Measured over stockinette stitch worked flat using Main Fabric needle and measured after blocking)
