Holiday Knitting Series - Late Bloomer Mittens

Description & level : Advanced - small circumference knitting with DPN’s or Magic Loop

These mittens are a fantastic quick knit that you can make for yourself or a perfect holiday gift.  It is an addicting pattern and fun to create the big blooms along the front of the mittens. We will go over the pattern, get you started with tips and tricks to creating a beautiful, not your ordinary pair of mittens.  I promise people will stop and ask you where you bought them!  

Skills needed: Cast-on, bind-off, small circumference knitting, increase, decrease, simple embroidery

Materials needed: Sport + Mohair or DK or to make gauge of 22 stitches & 30 rounds in stockinette stitch on US 4 and US 6 needles, tapestry needle, stitch markers, and copy of the pattern.
