Junction Fiber Mill is a wool processing mill in the heart of White River Junction, Vermont. They strive to create delightful yarn using our small-batch and breed-specific approach to bring about the best characteristics of the fiber in each skein. They create and sell hand-dyed and undyed yarn made from natural wool sourced locally and domestically. They also provide top quality custom processing for local sheep farms.

Hand-dyed by us in small batches and spun at their mill in White River Junction, VT. Each skein is unique.

Photographed are multiple skeins to show color differentiation, this listing is for a single skein of yarn.

Hand washing with wool specific soap is recommended. Lay Flat to dry.

The garment should be washed separately. For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.

While JFM works to ensure colorfastness, some dyes are notoriously difficult to set and may exhaust some color even after our final wash. We recommend steam blocking when working with contrasting colors. Wash your finished knits in cold water only with a no-rinse wool wash.
